Have you ever heard someone say that you have to make sure every single thing you say to a girl has to be unexpected or out of the ordinary when you first meet her, or she’ll lose interest?
This is wrong in my view. It’s actually probably more weird to a girl if you don’t ever get around to asking about mundane aspects of her life.
What are the so-called “boring questions”?
How do you make your money?
Are you in school?
Do you have kids?
How long have you lived here?
While it is possible to bore a girl to tears if you constantly barrage her with an inquisition, that doesn’t mean you can’t ask some of these questions.
Here’s the key principle:
BORING QUESTION FLIRTING RULE: If you ask a “boring question”, you must PLAY with her answer.
I often query a girl about her schooling or work upon first meeting her.
Then I get creative with her reply.
Like this:
If she says she’s studying radiology, I’ll say “Oh, good, so if I were to break my leg right now, you’d totally help me out. You probably have X-ray equipment right in your backpack, right?”
She laughs. She feels like you value her for something other than her looks. And you frame the interaction as one of her being ready to SERVE you in some way.
This approach will work almost every time. And it’s fun.
Give it a shot the next time you talk with a woman. Use it even on women you’re not attracted to – just to get the practice in.
Imagine making a little old lady’s day with this line: “Goodness gracious, I just know that, if you were my Grandma, you’d bake me cookies all the time, even when my mother said not to. Wouldn’t you?” They all love it!
